Happy 1st Anniversary!

Heyyie guys! Sorry I haven't been very active on my social media lately as I was busy juggling with attachments and the recent passing of my grandma. It was quite difficult for my family, especially my mum, who is very close to her. Her presence is dearly missed and may she rest peacefully.

On a happier note, April rings the bell of not only KY and my birthday, but also our anniversary! How time flies and whoa, we are together for almost a year now and I can't thank God enough for bringing us together. To celebrate our first anniversary and for Mei Li's Paperie August Challenge, I made this layout using my all-time favourite Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Collection and inspired by stencil-ed Pinterest layouts I saw!

Recently, we did a photoshoot by Serene and I can't thank her enough for her time! Of all the photos taken, I am drawn particularly to this very casual and candid shot. I particularly like how natural and happy we look and it wasn't like a pose-and-shoot kinda photo!

Happy Sweet Valentine's Day!!:D Just a quick post sharing an altered cork-board layout I did today!:)

You are my RAINBOW heart!

Heyyie guys! I am back today with more V-Day inspiration!:)For Timeless Twine and Scraplicious DT this month, I decided to create another love card!:)

It's exactly 6 days to Valentine's Day and have you completed your projects for your loved ones? :D Fret not if you haven't! I hope this card will give you more ideas on how to create a nice card for your loved ones!:)

First, I drew a sketch of my rainbow on transparency and cut it out.

Then, I glued the twines using glossy accent as it dries clear!

Thirdly, I added foam dots at the front of the rainbow and glued it behind the heart so it gives the illusion that the rainbow is floating! Try this out!:)

Lastly, I added Crate Paper fourteen collection embellishments and added glossy accent to add accents to the card! Oh, not forgetting, I also painted the inside of the card pink with watercolour!

-Timeless Twines - Cherry red, Pumpkin orange, bubble gum pink, lemonade yellow, olive green and aqua blue

First Blog Post for Timeless Twine

Heyyie guys! I can't contain my excitement! I did my first blog post for Timeless Twine! Check this entry at : Love is You & Me

So for Scraplicious and Timeless Twine DT this month, I decided to create a 11 X 8.5 layout to fit into the special plastic folders for my Project Life!


Now that Valentine's Day is nearing, I hope this project will give you more ideas on how to use the very awesome and yummy Timeless Twines as well as Crate Paper Fourteen Collection!

I used Timeless Twines in 3 ways for this project!

The twines were used to replace my embroidery threads and I stitched the word "Love" on the cardstock with different coloured twines.

Then, I tied 2 small ribbons to the chipboard to add interest and contrast.



Lastly, I was inspired by the metal cans on wedding cars during weddings and tied the twines onto small tiny wooden spools and attached them to the back of the bicycle!

-Cameo adhesives stickers
-Cameo digital cards
-Timeless Twines - bubble gum pink, cherry red, lemonade yellow, strawberry cupcake and pumpkin orange

Upcycling my poker cards! 52 reasons why I love you!

Hey guys!! How have you been? It's been awhile since I last updated my blog partly because I was busy finishing up my school assignments during this week of break.

So how about starting this new week with a tutorial?? It's been a long time since I last did one! So here's to share:

This is an upcycling project and I love how sentimental and sweet this turned out to be. I found a deck of old and overused poker cards lying around and thought why not make an album of love notes with it?

So these are my supplies: Gesso, October Afternoon 8X8 paper pack, basic supplies and definitely a deck of cards!

So, I applied Gesso on the cards so the words will appear clearer from the faint background!

Using the paper pad to decorate the back of my poker cards which look so old and dirty :X

Ta da, the finished product! 52 sweet reasons why I love you. Great as Valentine's Day gift for your special ones or anniversary gifts!

Heyyie all! For Scraplicious January DT assignment, I completed a Valentine's Day layout using the very sweet and awesome Echo Park Collection! Had lots of fun incorporating various brands such as Pink Paislee, Maya Road and Prima into my layout!:) I super hearts the Pink Paislee Sweetness collection! One cardstock can add so much more dimension and interest by simply cutting and layering them as seen at the bottom right of the layout. Try doing that for your next layout!:)

Want to also dedicate this layout to Roy and Serena:) May their love continue to strengthen and endure for the many more years to come!
