Celebrating Happy Little Moments!

Hello friends! Here's sharing 3 cards I made with the March Embellishment Kit for Pink Fresh Studio! Have you bought/gotten your hands on them? Hurry before it gets sold out!

Here's my take on the kit!  I created 3 cards to celebrate the happy moments daily to remind myself and the people I am giving the cards to that there is so much worth celebrating and being thankful for each day!

This card was created using the Up in the Clouds patterned papers and embellishments from both the February and March kits! Love how fun the colors are!

And I really love the 3x4 stamp set designed by Neat & Tangled for Pink Fresh Studio! I wanted the beautiful lovely amazing YOU to be the focus, hence the background was created by first inking the stamp and stamping on a rough paper to clear off the first layer of ink then stamped on the cardstock again to create a lighter tone! 

Super love how the embellishments and stamps were carefully selected by Pink Fresh Studio and how nicely they compliment each other!:D

Birthday Cards Fun!

Heyyie all!! Hope your weekend has been great and filled with lotsa love!! Sharing some birthday cards with the latest Carta Bella Collection!:D

Here's what I did:

I created a shadowbox effect to add more dimension and interest to the card!

Square cards get too boring at times so it's a semi-circle card! Whee!

Last but not least, a rectangular card with a secret door for the surprise photos! Absolutely fun if it's unglam!

Feeling under the weather?

10 minute Craft Dash Challenge!

Heyyie guys! So thankful to be able to participate in this challenge at Pretty Pink Posh!

Here's my take on challenge #19! This I must say is highly stressful! I don't usually work under pressure so I was literally argh-ing at the 8th minute because I am only halfway done! And the rest was just crazy sticking wherever there's an empty space! HAHA! 

Time Completed: 10 mins 15 secs

I decided to distress the sides of the cardstock to add more dimension to the card!

Heyyie guys! TGIF! Hope you had a great week! For Timeless Twine DT post today, I made a few Thank You cards to thank the hospital nurses and doctors for their care and patience during my grandma's hospitalisation stay. They have been very supportive and kept updating us on my granny's condition, especially the palliative care team who provided much comfort and pain relief for my grandma.

Using the Hero Arts 'Thank You Card' wood block stamp, I stamped the image on a watercolor paper and painted it with distress inks and some water colour! Love how it turned out!

I used October Afternoon's Sidewalks collection and finish it by using the ever versatile Timeless Twine - Lemonade Yellow, Olive Green and Cherry Red!

Timeless Twine and A blog Named Hero Cross Promo!

Heyyie guys! Happy April!:) So for this special month, Timeless Twine and A Blog Named Hero decided to work together for a cross promo!

Here's a card celebrating our cross promo!:D I made it in such a way that it's like a birthday parcel with lotsa yummy cupcakes on it! I used distress markers for the colouring and Hero Arts Cupcake acrylic stamp!

Hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it!







Lastly I finished the cupcakes with some distress stickles and Prima crystals!

Thankful for our memories!

Heyyie guys!! Thank God it's Friday! Looking forward to a short ME time this weekend! That said, I am here to share my DT project for Scraplicious and Timeless Twine!

Have I told you I ABSOLUTELY adore Crate's Maggie Holmes Collection?!!? So thankful to have these goodies to play with! I used her collection to create this bird-cage inspired card especially for my dear friend:

I added twines to replace the thin paper cuts resembling metal wires.

You are my RAINBOW heart!

Heyyie guys! I am back today with more V-Day inspiration!:)For Timeless Twine and Scraplicious DT this month, I decided to create another love card!:)

It's exactly 6 days to Valentine's Day and have you completed your projects for your loved ones? :D Fret not if you haven't! I hope this card will give you more ideas on how to create a nice card for your loved ones!:)

First, I drew a sketch of my rainbow on transparency and cut it out.

Then, I glued the twines using glossy accent as it dries clear!

Thirdly, I added foam dots at the front of the rainbow and glued it behind the heart so it gives the illusion that the rainbow is floating! Try this out!:)

Lastly, I added Crate Paper fourteen collection embellishments and added glossy accent to add accents to the card! Oh, not forgetting, I also painted the inside of the card pink with watercolour!
