Chickaniddy October Sketch!

Hello friends! Thanks for dropping by! Cassandra here sharing with you my take on the Chickaniddy October Sketch and the supplies used!

Supplies: Scrumptious – Alpha Stickers (sc14eb02), Corn On The Cob (sc14os12), Die Cut Tags (sc14eb04), Home Sweet Home (sc14os02), Illustration Stickers (sc14eb01), Journal Tags (sc14eb03), Mini Alpha Clear Stamps (sc14st01), Mini Sticker Tags (sc14eb06), New Harvest (sc14os10)

1. Instead of following the sketch and using the rectangular boxes for photos, I made them into cute tabs so that the focus will still be on my photo.

2.Then I used my black pen to draw stitched marks around the patterned paper to add better contrast against the white background.

3. To make it more dimensional, I added pop-up foam dots and layered the embellishments.

4. Lastly, I added journaling using the American Typewriter font and cut and pasted onto my tag.

Hello friends! Thanks for dropping by! For my Chickaniddy's Craft DT post, I am sharing with you a layout titled: So Thankful For You! I am always so thankful and blessed to have such a supportive and loving family and what great way to share my thanks through a layout using the scrumptious collection! It's really stocked with so many sweet details in this collection!

And here are the supplies used:

Scrumptious – Alpha Stickers (sc14eb02), Corn On The Cob (sc14os12), Hay Ride (sc14os05), Home Sweet Home (sc14os02), Illustration Stickers (sc14eb01), Journal Tags (sc14eb03), New Harvest (sc14os10)

1. I used the Hay Ride patterned paper as the background to add better contrast to my project as the photos I am working with were filled with nice scenery.

2.Then I arranged my photos in such a way that they appeared balanced, i.e. focus of the first photo on the left, then middle and lastly right.

3. Then I placed the photos in a straight line and cut out the Home Sweet Home patterned paper and used them as embellishments.

4. Lastly, I added some journaling!

Chickaniddy Color Scheme Layout - Graduation

Warm greetings to all! Cassandra here and back with a new layout playing with September’s color challenge! Absolutely love the Scrumptious Collection!

I used my Cameo to cut out a flower wreath and added some of the leftover Scrumptious patterned papers - Check please & Fall Bouquet - to the back of it. I love how this circular photo creates a better focus on my layout.

Chickaniddy Fall Decor Altered Tray!

I am so excited for my first Chickaniddy's post!! Hello all from Sunny Singapore! I am Cassandra Chen, a nurse by day and crafter by night! I am truly so thankful to be able to join this awesome team with so many talented and fun crafters!
So here's my take for this week:

I truly adore this awesome collection! So beautiful indeed!
Tip: Not sure how to print words on cards? Simply print your words on a rough paper as a guide, place your card on top and mark the corners, then use a tape to secure it down and print it through again! I figured this work best if your printer has a rear tray! ;)
