Clique Kits July Pep Rally Share!

Happy Wednesday to all! Welcome to Clique Kits July Pep Rally Blog Share! Hope your week has been great! *Drum rolls* and introducing Clique Kits latest July Collection called Carpe Diem!

For this collection, I have decided to scrap about my DIY Terrariums! Have you tried making one before? It may seem daunting at first (especially when I do not have green fingers), but after trying it it's really easy!

There are quite a few websites that you can just google that provides step by step instructions on how to create your own terrarium! Here's how:

Supplies needed are: soil, charcoal, succulents/cactus, sphagnum moss, spoon, pebbles, glass jars and embellishments

1. Start off by heading to your local florist to get some lovely succulents and supplies.

2. Start by first adding pebbles to your glass jars. This allow good drainage for your soil.

3. Add a thin layer of charcoal and sphagnum moss to prevent rot and to absorb excess water.

4. Add your soil mix with the succulents.

5. Embellish your glass jars with cute supplies! I got my Totoro collection from Q100 and Carousel!

I created a total of 5 glass jars that afternoon!:D And this layout was creating using Clique Kits July Kit stocked with yummies! Head over to their blog for more inspiration!

Wedding Invitation Cards

Happy Tuesday to all!:D Hope your week has been great! I recently got a request from a friend to create a beach-style wedding as hers will be held in Bali, Indonesia. And here's sharing my first attempt at it!:D Creating such a theme was somewhat challenging for me considering the limited supplies I could play with but I am so glad how these cards eventually turned out!:D The Webster's Pages Ocean Melody Collection fits the theme perfect!!:D

Chickaniddy Crafts February Pinspiration card!

Good day to my dearest Chickaniddy Crafts friends!:D So excited to share a Pinterest inspired card today!

I was really inspired by handmade flowers recently and so decided to create a flower as the centrepiece of my card.

Here's how this card was created:

1. Measuring 4x6", I first layered them with the Twirly Girly Collection.
2. Then I created a small pocket using vellum and hid it behind the doily.
3. Lastly, I alternated the flower centrepiece with doily and crepe paper to create more dimension. To learn how to create this handmade flower, you may drop by the tutorial on my blog!

Time for gift wrapping!:D

Hello all! Ain't you excited for Christmas?! Busy trying to find those nice wrapping papers to match your presents? How about making your very open in say less than 5 minutes?!

With just a nice snowflake stamp with white pigment ink, I decorated a roll of inexpensive brown papers and personalised them accordingly!:)

And a tip to share for taking nice photos! I love using PicMonkey (www.picmonkey.com) to edit my photos! The online software is really simple to use and FREE too!:) And basically taking photos in the day with bright diffused sunlight!:) I hope this helps in letting you create nicer Christmas photos!:)

Till my next update, take care and God Bless!:D

DIY Twine Holder

Heyyie guys, I have recently bought a few spools of twines and was wondering where to keep them and have been seeing people purchasing expensive racks to hold them. My trip to DAISO gave me the idea to make my very own DIY rack! At a cost price of only $4! Plus, it's so quick and easy! All done in 30 minutes!:)

This is my supply list! To note, I have decided to switch the long wooden sticks to shorter ones as I do not have the machine to cut them nicely hence the surface area in contact with my wood would be minimised and this would weaken the structure.

Firstly, I pasted the card stock on my wood!

Then, I glued the wooden sticks with my wood glue (Add pressure and hold it in place to remove any air bubbles inside it).

Create any style you like that suits the number of spools you have! If I had a thinner wood, I would adhere it to the back so that my spools at the back will be elevated!

Do try it out and send me a link of your project!

Till my next update, take care and God Bless! Have a blessed week ahead!:)
