Project Love!

Heyyie guys! How have all of you been? Whee, it's only 3 days to Christmas!:) Have you gotten your Christmas gifts?:) In line with the season of giving, I decided to prepare Christmas gifts for all my loved ones and friends!:)

Here is my product:

Interested to know how I prepared them? Here's how:

Photobucket

I bought these bottles from one of the provision shops recommended by Esther Lin! It's definitely cheaper to purchase them in bulk of 50s! Remember to wash them clean first ya!

And yay, Christmas shopping! I bought packets of chocolate and marshmallows to add them into my bottles!

And there was all the designing, printing and cutting! I love using Avery labels because it comes with a free software to design and personalise them! Then again, I was really irritated halfway through because it ain't exactly that user-friendly, especially when I am so BAD in IT-related gadgets!

Photobucket

Ta-da! Oh, and I added nice cardstock to the top to decorate it!

Try them out if you haven't prepared your gifts! Or share with me all your lovely home-made this Chrismtas!

Enjoy and have fun this festive season!! Till my next update, take care and God Bless!:)

Cameo Christmas Shadowbox!

Hey guys!! It's almost 2 weeks to Christmas! Are you in the midst of preparing gifts for your loved ones? Or desperately in search of ideas?

Why not start with a simple handmade Christmas card? When was the last time we actually received a card from the postman?! If you are in for something more challenging, why not decorate a photo frame and add your favourite photo as a gift? Or you could also decorate any tins/boxes with awesome Christmas papers and packed your favourite home-made cookies in them?

Still not sure how else to start? Google or find ideas on Pinterest! It's a great place to find lovely ideas and inspiration!

So for Scraplicious assignment this month, I created my own shadowbox from papers using the Cameo shadowbox digital files! They are from the Lori Whitlock Collection! I can't express how much I love Cameo and playing with it makes me so happy!

Christmas Lantern & Album!

Heyyie again! Next up, my second altered project in a row! For Scraplicious DT assignment this month, I used an old plastic container, cleaned it up and decorate it with the lovely My Mind's Eye papers!

I made a stand to elevate the container and guess what, it's using my favourite toilet roll! I love adding them in altered projects because of how versatile they are and yes, we are playing a negligible part in recycling! HAHA!

Enjoy!!

Hey guys! I am truly sorry for my long absence as I had some problems uploading posts on the blog! Thankfully it's all over now and I have transferred all my photos into Photobucket instead!

For Scraplicious DT assignment this month, I decided to play with some Echo Park Christmas papers! How lovely they are and so festive!:) Such a traditional style!

I completed a parcel box from the scrap papers from this kit and added a Hambly transparency surrounding it so that it will be more sturdy! Enjoy!

DIY Twine Holder

Heyyie guys, I have recently bought a few spools of twines and was wondering where to keep them and have been seeing people purchasing expensive racks to hold them. My trip to DAISO gave me the idea to make my very own DIY rack! At a cost price of only $4! Plus, it's so quick and easy! All done in 30 minutes!:)

This is my supply list! To note, I have decided to switch the long wooden sticks to shorter ones as I do not have the machine to cut them nicely hence the surface area in contact with my wood would be minimised and this would weaken the structure.

Firstly, I pasted the card stock on my wood!

Then, I glued the wooden sticks with my wood glue (Add pressure and hold it in place to remove any air bubbles inside it).

Create any style you like that suits the number of spools you have! If I had a thinner wood, I would adhere it to the back so that my spools at the back will be elevated!

Do try it out and send me a link of your project!

Till my next update, take care and God Bless! Have a blessed week ahead!:)

Personalised card for my client!

Hey guys! Sharing with you a card and envelope I made from scratch using Crate Paper - On Trend Collection! This was a personalised card requested by one of my clients for her colleague and I am really like she like it!:)This card was inspired by her colleague's love for sports! And I thought why not make a rosette that resembles one of the sports award! :D Hope he likes it as much as I did! And thankfully the card would fit into the envelope and cover the flowers (which I adore) so it wouldn't appear too girly :X HAHA!

And I machine stitched my papers together with a nice pocket inside for her to express her thanks!:)

Feel free to drop me an email at cassandra.chen.siyun@gmail.com if you are interested to know more about my personalisation services!

Till my next update, take care and God Bless!:)

More cards for Christmas?

Oh yes! I can't stop making Christmas cards! How about 2 new additions to my flea?!:) Did another tree card (yes, it's so therapeutic rolling papers!!) and a shaker card!:) This time, I am adding Christian sentiments to them!:) I have decided to start selling my cards before the flea so if you are interested, leave a comment on the various posts or drop me an email at cassandra.chen.siyun@gmail.com!

Till my next update (which is pretty soon!) , take care and God Bless!
